Rhydian with the Amphibian - Frog Duck

Some ducky has been down to the frog pond and got a new friend...entirely handmade from start to finish by Richardmoonstreet.com

If you know me at all, you know I'm obsessed with frogs. Not really the real things to be honest, though me and my brother used to raise frogs after collecting tadpoles at the local creek, but none of them survived long.

Not like this frog and duck duo - they'll last forever, they'll last longer than you or me! The ceramic duck and ceramic frog are attaached butt to noggin, never to be separated. Cute.

Rhydian's life started with wheel-thrown white stoneware clay, then add on hand-built ducky features and heart, underglaze the colours, biscuit fire to 900'c then transparent glaze and fire to stoneware 1220'c. At this temperature the glaze becomes glossy and smooth and you're left with a new ceramic companion.
