SEO. Yep, you know it, you've heard of it, and you know I'm a bitch about it. But what the hell IS it? And why should you care?
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is a set of guidelines that, when followed, encourage search engines (like google/bing) to show your web page at the top of its results.
When a search engine shows your web page at the top of its results, this increases the chances that someone will click to your website, and buy your products.
It's an incredibly important advertising tool that should be used as part of our marketing strategy in order to show your products to as many relevant people as possible.
But how? What are these guidelines?
SEO is a huge topic that can be difficult to research, as it is not a one-size-fits-all solution. What works for a small service provider is not the same strategy as works for a large corporation.
