A few years ago, I worked with Sarah from Little Black Cat to optimise her online presence through her Shopify and Faire platforms. I wrote 20 product listings for Faire, handed over the reins with a list of actions and recommendations and left Sarah to her own devices.
Sarah was the model student, taking the learnings from the product listings that I wrote for her and taking control by spending the time to write the rest of her product listings, following the my guidance and the outline from the work I had done.
Sarah's incredible grasp of SEO from our time together inspired me to expand the teaching side of my business, and I began developing a guide to Faire SEO, giving brands step-by-step instructions to follow, in order to improve visibility of products on the platform.
Later that year, I released The Ultimate Guide to Faire SEO, which has become an incredibly popular part of the teaching part of my business. Countless brands all over the world have bought, downloaded and followed the instructions in the guide and seen the benefits on Faire, bringing in more visibility and higher sales.
In September, Sarah spoke to Therese from the Small Business Collaborative on her podcast, Let's Talk Shop, and they had a chat about Sarah's wholesale and retail succeses since her business started, and I was overwhelmed and surprised to hear my own name dropped!
